EXHIBITION OF COLLABORATIVE METAL ARTISTS OPENS IN NEW YORK GALLERY New York, N.Y.-"Collaborations in Metal", featuring the final collaborative works by Michael Good and the late Marilyn Druin, opened with a reception in tribute to Ms. Druin on Tuesday, March 5 at Aaron Faber Gallery, 666 Fifth Avenue. Marilyn's husband Mel represented his late wife at the tribute. The exhibition was inspired by the remarkable enamel-and-gold objects executed by Michael Good and Marilyn Druin during their three-year collaboration. In that time these two artistic partners executed some 20 pieces, about half of which are on display in this exhibition. The exhibition features as well the collaborative work of Heyoka Merrifield and Kathy Smick, and others. In addition, Good and Druin's solo work is included in the exhibit. In all there are 40 pieces in the show. Information about Marilyn and excellent pictures of her work can be found at the following website: Marilyn Druin: http://www.bederson.org/druin/marilyn/ The exhibition continues through March 30, 2002.
