"THE COLOUR OF FIRE"

Contemporary Enamel Arts from Japan and Canada

Works by 77 artists from The Canadian Enamellist Association & The Japan Enamelling Artist Association, at "The Living Arts Centre", Mississauga, Ontario, June 7-August 4, 2002.

If you can't get there in person you can still purchase a copy of the catalogue for $US 35.00 each (we've already ordered ours). All 95 pieces in the exhibition are illustrated in large, full-colour photography with fully indexed technical descriptions.

Posters 17.5 inches high by 23.5 inches wide of the catalogue front cover showing Fay Rooke's "Wave Break" (pictured below) are also available at a cost of $10 U.S. each, shipping and handling included; additional posters in the same order would be $5 each. They are shipped in a sturdy mailing tube to ensure they arrive undamaged.

The text includes historical overviews of enamelling in Japan and Canada, materials and techniques, and an essay by guest curator Glenn Allison, director of the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery.

The catalogue comprises of 60 pages, with 95 full-colour photo reproductions fully indexed with technical descriptions. The text is written in English, Japanese and French and the catalogue features museum-quality printing and binding.
