Dear Colleague, You must have heard about our intention to organise the Enamel Art Triennale of Budafok in 2004 as well. We are trying to raise funds to cover the costs of the workshop, the exhibition and the catalogue. I want to ask you to send us a short letter by e-mail at your earliest convenience with the following contents: - you have heard about the Triennale organised by the Hungarian Society of the Enamel Artists, - you would like to receive more information about it, - you and the group of enamel artists you belong to would like to take part in it at least with your works. It is one of the conditions of our application for the grant that we can prove that there are artists who would like to take part in it. This letter will not bind you to anything, however, if we are given the funds, your participation will be guaranteed. Please send the letter directly to: László Morvay 1239 Budapest Grassalkovich u. 157. Hungary e-mail: László Morvay Thank you for your kind assistance and wish you much success to your work. Katalin Hollósy H-6000 Kecskemét Fráter Gy. U. 7. Hungary e-mail: Katalin Hollósy Go To Website Dear Colleague, This is to announce that the 30th International Enamel Workshop will be organised in Kecskemét, Hungary in 2004. On the occasion of the significant anniversary we would like to prepare richer and more festive programme. We are planning: - to invite artists free of charge for the 6 weeks of the workshop, - to let them use the materials during the wokshop free of charge, - to organise a vast exhibition of the works made during the workshop, - to publish a catalogue of the the exhibition. The Hungarian Delegation of the European Committee has just announced the conditions of application for a grant to support international art programmes in Hungary. It is one of the conditions that we have to attach the announcement of intention of the representatives or organisations of the enamel art of the countries wishing to participate. It does not mean any financial obligation for them, however, guarantees free participation for them in case the application is successful. (Accommodation, meals, use of the workshop, material costs, excursions, catalogue.) Will you please send us in your own name, or in the name of the group you represent a short letter expressing your intention to co-operate and to take part in the 30th International Enamel Workshop so that we could enclose it to our application. My hopes concerning the success of the application are well founded because last year I could win the above described conditions for 23 Hungarian artists, and after the successful settlement of the accounts the European Commission congratulated me. I would highly appreciate if you could send me your reply at your earliest convenience to the following address: e-mail: Katalin Hollósy The International Enamel Workshop of the Municipality of the County of Bács-Kiskun (Bács-Kiskun Megyei Önkormányzat Nemzetközi Zománcmuvészeti Alkotómuhelye) H-6000 Kecskemét, Bethlen krt. 16., Hungary Tel./Fax: 00 36 76 482 123 I hope that we can organise a friendly meeting in good mood with a few weeks of work preceeding it.
