The enamel pin is set up on the frosted non-glare "Museum Glass" frosted side up. An ear syringe is used to gently blow dust away.
The glass is sitting on graduated photo paper which adds a simulated lighting effect of dark to light thus giving depth to the background. Other colored papers can be used for different effects.
Glass, paper & jewelry are elevated with matt board and / or CD cases to lift the jewelry piece to the optimal height
