Can I submit articles or pictures to eNAMEL?
Yep - please contact the editor first though to discuss what you have in mind. Space is limited. No guarantee can be made that all or any articles or pictures will be used however. Why won't you accept slides, photographs and written or typed copy? I haven't got a scanner/digital camera/computer. eNAMEL is first and last an online electronic publication and that's the form we specify for submissions because we haven't got the time or inclination to convert analogue records. Are your contributors paid? Nup - links are provided to their website/s and email box and they are able to use any copy written by eNAMEL for their feature as they wish. How do you select the featured artisans? Our featured artists generally ( but not always ) have a web presence displaying top quality images of their work which itself is of more than average quality and interest. All were approached by eNAMEL and were kind enough to allow their work to be used. (If you think you meet those criteria you might want to email the editor at SUBMISSIONS and include the URL of your website.) Is it possible to have my work featured if I pay some sort of fee even though I don't have a webpage? Nup. If I take out a masthead advertisement with eNAMEL can I nominate an article for inclusion in the magazine? Nup. Why do I have to "subscribe" to eNAMEL? You don't have to subscribe to eNAMEL - it's freely available for download from it's own website. Subscribing however means that you get updates as they're made, not when you remember to check the mag. on the web, and it allows us to gain a much more accurate idea of circulation than other tracking methods. How do I know you don't use my personal details for profit - that you don't pass on my email address to 3rd parties? Because we say so - we detest the practise of selling or trading personal information on the WWW or off it, and will not participate in it. In any case the only information we hold about you is what you sent with your email address. Furthermore, the eNAMEL mailing list is managed onsite for reasons of privacy (and cost!). Here're a few gems from the mail which I offer without further comment. Ed |
